Have you been to any Asian countries? Do you want to go to any? Discuss here. I've been to Philippines and Japan(stop over). I was at Nagoya airport for bout 3hrs and I saw the mountains filled with snow. The airport was actually in an island by itself. And it was awesome seeing a new, different language. I wanna go to Beijing, Seoul, Tokyo, Boracay, Baguio, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, and wherever something is interesting.

Eh... lol Hawaii is right in between. Sure w/e Ah really? It also has the biggest Filipino population I think; the Governor was even one. You should really go to an Asian country, cause you're even Chinese-Japanese! two nationed heritage people must go at some point in their lives, and frequently. _________________

wow what does your dad do, just wondering? And where in the Middle East? I have a uncle or so in Saudi Arabia. That region is interesting, because it's totally different from East Asia. _________________

My dad goes on tour around Japan each year with a jazz band. In the Mid East we go to Lebanon fairly often (because of family there), and I've been to Jordan and Syria. I assume when you mentioned religion you meant Islam. Yeah it's completely different from eastern religions, (much close to Christianity and Judaism because they are all based from the same prophet) I tend to like the ideology of eastern religions more though, specifically Buddhism. _________________

| ah that's interesting. How is it in Lebanon there, are there any tensions in there because of other countries, Iran I think or Israel? | tribzi wrote: | | I assume when you mentioned religion you meant Islam. What?? I meant region not religion, if that's what you thought. |

Oh. My mistake, i misread region for religion. I love to go to Lebanon but we haven't been in four years since tensions in the area have really gotten bad. A couple summers ago there were some really bad things going on with Israel and the Southern Lebanese border, now things within Lebanon are still out of hand. _________________

Ah I see. So you say you're Muslim? Have you gone to Mecca, or somewhere where you make pilgrimage once in your life at least, yet? _________________

No, actually my mother's family is Christian, but no one in my immediate family is very religious anyway. So no, I haven't done a pilgrimage. _________________

Heh, no need to apologize, its my fault for misunderstanding that first "region" for "religion" and going on a tangent. My father was also raised Christian. However neither my mom, my dad or I, are religious. _________________
