I've never tried making sigs, but it seems cool to make one. But I lack creativity

I've tried...not super successfully, but I've tried. I'm more into hand drawing, pencil and charcoal.

I don't think taking other anime drawings and editing them is considered your drawings...

I tried my hand at drawing manga, but I suck. They suck because their body's proportion is all off. Drawing humans are tough, manga or not.

Making things like sigs is obviously not completely original work, but there is still an art and a technique to making the surroundings and the background of the render.

As far as my drawing characters I'm ok on proportion, but the actual manga style is hard for me to get right. My figures often end up looking too western having over-the-top manga characteristics.

Hmm, do you have any of your drawings?

I guess making sigs take art, but it's a different type of art. Not drawing, just photo editing and such.

Here's an ok drawing I did a little while ago. Now that I look at it I see a hundred problems with it, but that always happens when you look at stuff you did before. Anyway, here it is.



His hand is so small

Nice bleach fanart. Like you said before their arms are way too skinny =P, but their faces look pretty good.

Yeah, looking back at old work always looks worse than when you frist drew it.

That's pretty nice! You just have to work on a hundred LITTLE things...they're not all that big individually.

His clothes are hopeless

It's not so bad. And at least you tried getting the folds in the cloths, I avoid trying to draw loose clothing lol.

Having it real loose is hard for beginners so it looks good overall!

Neat. The folds are pretty off though, looks very random to me.

That had to be really hard with the clothing's folds and stuff. My drawing potential is zero.

I made a Chad drawing yesterday. Scanned it in just now and cleaned up the space around it. I present it to you now for your endless criticism. It's pencil in case anybody cares.
