I think that it's good that they're going with what they want to do though. It's not good to do something just because it's what will be what people will read. I think that it's good that they are going for their dreams

I didn't even realize that they wanted to create a really mainstream manga. I thought their goal was just to be the best mangakas in Japan.

I like them both equally...

Even though they want to do mainstream it doesn't look like either of them are especially good at creating mainstream drawings or stories.

One thing about this series is that I had always thought about mangaka as a job that people kind of end up in if it's meant for them. I had never thought about the fact that there are probably tons of struggling/failing mangakas. - Meh, just a thought.

Yea it's like people that do art or authors...it's a long and sometimes non-rewarding process

Yeah I love that interaction with the authors, because Eiji was obviously oblivious to the tension of the situation.

I just read the past two chapters also and wow. So much happened. I was surprised to see Nizuimi or w/e was a fan of money and intelligence. Can't wait for more chapters.

I wonder if the author had to go through legal stuff with Jump to include it to such an extent in his manga.

Oh man that was an awesome chapter. Just like every time it feels like so much happened.

In truth, the angel story didnt sound very interesting at all. Not that you couldn't make a cool angel manga, but that story was boring. I'm still hanging on the edge of my seat waiting to see what their hit will be.
