| That was a pretty sweet chapter. Nice to see Omaeda do something useful, though I really wouldn't have minded if he had been killed off.
Is Soi Fon fighting a guy or a girl? I can't tell. My choice for favorite captain is probably between Soi Fon and Hitsugaya, not quite sure who wins it though. | |

| I've been thinking it was a girl but now I don't know. I didn't think the Soi Fong fight with the arrancar would be over so quick, kind of sad a captain vs. a Fraccion and all but the Fraccion could be a toughy. | |

| Yeah, everyone's been complaining that the captains are too weak against Fraccion, but I think it just shows how powerful the espada really are.
And yeah, I thought it was a girl, but I'm not so sure anymore. | |

| We saw it before when Ichigo took out him and two other VC in SS during the Rukia rescue. Wasn't very impressive though. | |

| That might be the case. It's an odd ability that Soi Fon and Yorishi use. I think that taking off their haroi lets thems do some funky thing with energy in their back. Whatever it is it's cool, but I kind of hope she doesn't have to pull it out on this Fraccion. | |

| I'm thinking it might have something to do with aerodynamics since the haroi is really loose and flappy. But she might want to honor is since it is a high honor to wear one and she took it off vs. Yourichi because it was just them too and she honored Yourichi more | |

| Well I know Yourichi is Soi Fon's mentor, but don't shinigami kind of come into their power, or get a certain sword by some process. As we saw in Diamond Dust Rebellion 2 shinigami can't have the same zanpakutou. | |
